Collection: Cotton Velvet Cushion Covers

Cotton Velvet Cushion Covers

Three cushion covers. Designed for the Quilts they live with.

Some pieces are designed in isolation. These three were designed in conversation.

The triple flanged, with three soft pleats finishing every edge. The cord piped, with a single line of cotton piping along the seams. And Bough, the newest, where a hand-tied ribbon along one edge leaves the hand-printed cotton reverse visible behind the velvet face.

The triple flanged, the cord piped, and Bough share more than colourway. They share the same cotton velvet as our quilts. The same hands that cut and sew the quilts in Jaipur cut and sew these cushions. The hand printed cotton that lines our quilts lines Bough, where hand-tied ribbons leaves it visible from the front.

  • Hand dyed Slowly

Mud resisted cloth is hand-dyed under the bright Bagru sun—immersed, lifted and dried slowly, allowing earthy colour to deepen naturally.

  • Sun dried Velvets

Beneath open skies, our cotton velvets rest in the warmth of the Rajasthan sun, allowing Ochre and Moss to develop their soft, luminous depth naturally.

  • Before it Becomes

Handprinted Dabu fabric and plush Ochre velvet gathered on the artisan’s table — measured, cut, and prepared slowly by hand before each piece is stitched into form.
