Jaipore Blush KING - Cotton Velvet Quilt Reverse Mughal Floral Motif

The Jaipore Blush quilt is the first piece in our annual Heritage Edition — one quilt each year, drawn directly from a craft tradition of Jaipur, the city where every Let's Earth piece is made. This one is a love letter to the Pink City itself. A hand-screen-printed cream cotton reverse, paired with a dusty rose cotton velvet front, square-quilted and finished by hand in our Jaipur atelier. Sized generously for king beds and deeper mattresses.

Hand-screen-printed in Sanganer, twenty kilometres south of Jaipur, where this craft has been practised continuously since the seventeenth century. Each piece passes through roughly fourteen pairs of hands, from the cotton dyeing and screen printing of the lining, through the velvet cutting and quilting, to the final binding, finishing and folding for shipment.

Cold gentle machine wash on a delicate cycle. Hang dry in the shade. The natural dyes will soften with washing — this is part of the textile's life and intended. Do not bleach. Iron on the reverse face if needed.
